TB Joshua is dead - June 12th 1963- June 5th 2021

 Famous preacher  and televangelist Temitope Balogun Joshua  known as TB Joshua is dead. On Saturday 5th June, 2021, prophet TB Joshua spoke during Emmanuel TV partners meeting "Time for everything - time to come here for prayer and time to return home after service  according to the representative of the church.As prophet TB Joshua Says, "the greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it"

Meanwhile the cause of death was not immediately disclosed. But the representative of the church said his remains  had been deposited to the morgue and autopsy  would be performed.  

The representative added that the last moment of the man of God were spent in the service of God. Condolences to the Family, synagogue church of all nations and Emmanuel TV Family. Rip prophet TB Joshua.... Your legacy lives on. 

MORE TAXES TO BE PAID BY GHANAIANS - MRS ABENA OSEI ASARE

 The Deputy Minister - Designate of finance, Mrs Abena Osei Asare has said that Ghanaians will pay more taxes to the government this year

According to the minister, the government needs bog-standard from Ghanaians to achieve in its post covid-19 economy rallying plan and also aid the government to commerce on truculent revenue rally to lessen the negative impact of covid-19 economy 

ACHIMOTA SCHOOL TO APPEAL COURT DECISION

 The board of Achimota school has sufficed not that it will appeal the human right court ruling riveting them to accept two Rastafarian students. 

Meanwhile the board said, its disagree with the ruling of the court and has order its lawyers to appeal to the court. The court superintendent Justice Gifty Agyei Addo reign that the fundamental human right of the two students can not be miserly by the rules in question. 

EXPLOSION AT ONYINA NOFO IN THE ASHANTI REGION

 Three people have died in an explosion at onyina nofo in the Ashanti Region. The truck driver and his mate as well as two year old boy living in the resident were burn to death on Monday evening. According to an eye witness three other children are yet to be found.

The mother of 2 year old  boy said she was asleep when the incident had happened, and one of her neighbor came to her rescue. she  added that she tried her best to safe his son life but couldn't safe him.

Meanwhile seven people who sustained injuries have been sent to the hospital for treatment. About half of the community houses are burnt to ashes, With most of the resident homeless. The National Police and The National Fire Service were at scence to manage the situation according to an eye witness.

The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) are working to provide some relief for the resident. 

MARIANO BARRETO LEAVES KOTOKO

 Kumasi Asante kotoko coach Mariona Barreto has left for Portugal to renew his coaching license.the coach is slated to be out of the country for some  days. 

Mariano Barreto will return to Ghana on May 27th after renewing his Uefa pro license in Portugal. 

The coach was brought on board to take over kotoka as the head coach after Maxwell konadu left the club December last year. 

POKUASE INTERCHANGE TO BE FULLY OPEN IN JULY

President Nana Addo Dankwa will officially commission the four tier Awoshie-pokuase interchange in July according to the minister of Roads and highway,Mr Kwasi Amoako-Atta.

According to the minister, Nana Addo Dankwa will open  the pokuase interchange located in the GA North Municipality of the Greater Accra Region for the general public in the first week of july.

Meanwhile the minister added that more interchange will be completed at end of 2024 in other regions.

Blood thieves caught at korle Bu

 Two men have been caught and arrested by the police for stealing blood at korle bu teaching hospital. The two men were caught on the surgical third floor when they made attempts to steal blood that had been mobilized for surgical operation.

Management of the hospital says the security personnel on duty draw their attention about the two thieves who dress themselves as nurses to steal blood.

Meanwhile the two suspect are currently in the custody of the police for thorough investigation.

 Member of parliament for Dome kwabenya, Mrs Adwoa Sarfo has retreat her  previous letter of sacking school feeding boss, Gertrude Quashigah. According to Mrs Adwoa Sarfo it was due to administration error.

NDB will be paid within 20 years-Kojo Oppong Nkrumah

 The Member of parliament for  Ofoase - Ayirebi constituency, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has disclosed that the €170 million EIB loan secured by president  Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for National Development Bank Ghana will be paid by the country within 20 years. 

The politician disclose this during an interview he had with happy fm.

John Mahama decline AU Envoy offer

 Former ex president John dramani Mahama has turn down AU  Envoy offer in Somalia. The Ex president of Ghana has sent a letter to the chair person of the African union commission to withdraw from the opposition offered. 

While thanking the AU for the confidence reposed in him, John Dramani Mahama noted that the high political importance of the proposed assignment requires that the high representative enjoy support and cooperation of all political stake holders. 

Mr Mahama whose appointment as the AU Envoy has been welcomed by the council of the presidential candidate of Somalia and the coalition of the federal member states, further cautioned a letter to AU, that lack of support by the federal government could jeopardize the whole process.
